I have acne on my face and back, how can i get rid of it easily without using much money?

Question by Phylis Dereck: I have acne on my face and back, how can i get rid of it easily without using much money?
I’ve been trying to find cheap things to clear the acne on my face at least, but nothing really seems to work, can anyone help me clear the acne on my face, without using much money, and it would help if something could clear the acne on my back too. Thanks!

First, I understand where you’re coming from. I grew up with really bad acne, not only on my face but on my body as well. It was embarrassing and I tried everything including cleansers, creams, prescription medications, antibiotics, over the counter medications, and even shots from the dermatologist (ouch!) to get rid of it. I never did until many years later when it didn’t matter as much.

Here’s what I found out after lots of research and trial and error, the hard way.

It’s not a topical issue, it doesn’t help much to treat it from the outside, it’s an inside job. When you treat it from the outside it’s like treating the symptoms, not the cause. You’ll hear from many people that’s not the case, and it’s usually because they want you to buy their creams or lotions, and keep buying them month after month after month (or they haven’t experienced the truth). Of course, when you stop using it (as you’ve experienced) your blemishes come back… because you’re not treating the cause. And the costs for all of these routines/drugs add up month after month.

If you think about it logically, it makes sense. Why do we get rashes, breakouts, or other skin irritations? It’s usually because of something we ate, something that wasn’t meant to be put on our skin, something that caused us stress and our body reacts to all those things.

Bottom line is that most every cause of acne is related to what you eat, how you feel and how you take care of yourself. Your skin is a reflection of what’s on the inside. We have lots of toxins building up in our systems and they have to be cleaned out on the inside and that will reflect on the outside. The blemishes, rashes, acne, etc are indications that your body is reacting to what you’re eating, to stress, toxins, chemicals, hormones… literally a great number of things.

Basically what I did in a nutshell was clean out my system by taking out the processed and junk foods, and added as much fresh fruits and vegetables to my diet as possible. This part is key. I also started drinking a lot of water daily, starting with 3 or 4 glasses when I wake up (adding a squeeze of fresh lemon at times). I also got more active every day, walking, running, sports, jumping, whatever, just getting active. It not only gave me more energy, it help flush out the toxins that were clogging up my system.

Did you know 90% of acne is caused by 3 major factors? Find out exactly what
they are and how easily it is to solve them here

Q&A: How can I care for my lip piercings?

Question by shockhorrorcourtney: How can I care for my lip piercings?
I have retainers in. My lip was pierced last night and I’d just like to check what the proper care for them would be considering I’d like them to heal properly. I use a chap stick.. Can this in anyway irritate my piercings? Is it bad for them if I drink diet coke? Is there certain foods and drinks that are better to consume? Is it fine to just do salt swishes to keep it clean or do I need to do more? I like the taste of salt so yes.. OH! And do I need to boil the water first? Certain toothpastes that are bad and good? It’s bad to play with the inside of the piercing.. I’m guessing.. But if you don’t move it a bit every now and then won’t it get stuck? Advice please, anything you think would be helpful.
[I've got two piercings on the left side.. I don't know if that's relevant..]

Best answer:

Answer by Greek Cali Blonde
i am a gymnast too, on level 5
i too when on training level 4, had trouble with front hip circle and roundoff back handspring but just keep practicing and never be afraid to ask for help
and as for the handstands, well i used to do handstands against the wall ALL THE TIME when i was little and would just do them all, the time, and trust me, if you can do it really well on floor you can do it really well on beam, i am known as the handstand queen at my gym, lol and i can hold it really long on floor AND beam!
as for the rips, wear grips and for the healing thing, put on this rip cream that your gym probably has, and make sure you clean it out well and stuff
keep up the good work and good luck, hope this helps
practice practice practice!!!!!!!!!!! practice makes perfect!!!!

How can I become a massage therapist for the military?

Question by kim: How can I become a massage therapist for the military?
So I’ve always wanted to be a massage therapist, I’m 18 I have no clue where to start. Do I attend a Massage Therapy school? I was planning to attend Nevada school of massage therapy. Please help! Oh and if you know the cost for Nevada school of massage therapy. It would really help if i can speak to anyone who has graduated from there.

Best answer:

Answer by yunesa
Yes, you have to attend a massage school but you have to know what are the rules and regulations for the State that you would like to practice. If you want to consider a career in the military, perhaps you can consider offering massage services to military personnel or retired (geriatric patients).

There are a lot of options in this wonderful industry.

There are also career and guide books for massage and spa therapists:

The Massage Therapy Guide by Steve Capellini
The First Book on Spa, Massage and Wellness Resource Book and
Career Guide

(this has the most comprehensive list of training centers in the Philippines and abroad with tips from professionals and employment opportunities, legal laws and regulations including the 25 States in the United States with legislation, list of employment agencies, how to choose a trainer, and information that you need in order to succeed in this industry and before you shell out money for your tuition or training. This book will give you the information to start right in the industry with secrets you should know and being able to find your rainbow in the wonderful world of massage, spa and wellness.

Both of these books are available online and via Amazon.

Hope this helps.
